State Farm Center released a statement this morning that Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost would be performing in Champaign on Thursday, September 7.

The event, titled “Thursday Night Live,” will feature SNL comedians Andrew Dismukes and Marcello Hernandez alongside Jost. 

The performance is one of several stops on Jost’s current tour throughout the United States this summer. 

Jost, a head writer at SNL, first joined the show in 2005. Dismukes was hired as a writer as well in 2017, while Hernandez is a more recent addition to the show, joining the cast in 2022.

Jost’s most popular bit on SNL has been his work as a co-anchor of the SNL segment “Weekend Update.” The bit reached peak attention during the 2016 election.

According to State Farm Center’s website, University of Illinois students will receive $5 off of the price of admission, assuming the ticket is purchased through their student account.

Ticket prices currently range between $39.50 and $74.50. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. 

Tickets will be available for purchase on statefarmcenter.com beginning June 9.
