From some of Nikki Glaser’s classic roasts to speculation about Zendaya’s possible engagement, the 82nd Golden Globes was filled with iconic moments.
Glaser, the award show’s first solo female host, put endless preparation into ensuring the night would run smoothly. She reportedly used ideas from 10 staff writers and did over 90 test runs of her opening monologue, and the result did not disappoint. The comedian earned good-natured laughs with jokes about everything from Ozempic to Timothée Chalamet’s new facial hair.
Highly nominated films such as “The Brutalist” and “Emilia Pérez” saw their anticipated big wins for the night, with the latter being the most awarded film of the ceremony. Both films took home Best Motion Picture in their respective categories, while “Shōgun” took the most wins of any TV show.
The night also featured memorable speeches, particularly from Demi Moore after earning her first major acting award — Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for “The Substance” — and Karla Sofía Gascón with her message of queer empowerment.
Below is a complete list of nominees and winners at the 2025 Golden Globes.
