As the sun rose on the second day of Chicago’s most popular music festival, so did anticipation for the day’s acts.

Large crowds flocked to Bud Light and T-Mobile stages to see Korn and Olivia Rodrigo, respectively. Other artists drawing in listeners were Gigi Perez, Del Water Gap, The Dare and Bleachers.

Murda Beatz pumped up festivalgoers with his familiar, yet exciting set at 2:20 p.m. on Perry’s stage. He blended well-known rap songs with popular rock to leave the crowd feeling satisfied.

Ravyn Lenae gave the audience at Lakeshore stage the breather they needed to get through the weekend with her soulful and light-hearted set. The ethereal R&B singer and Chicago native gave a captivating performance that audience members aren’t soon to forget.

T-Pain brought the heat to the Bud Light stage at 4:30 p.m. by showcasing his range of musical talents. He also proved capable of reading and connecting with a crowd, creating an immersive experience for festivalgoers.

Foster the People returned to Lollapalooza for the second time, performing a set that defied genres on the T-Mobile stage. Transitioning from glistening dream-pop to indie-rock, the band showcased its versatility in a groovy and carefree performance.

Djo returned to his roots in Chicago, showing a deep appreciation for the city and all it’s done for him. This nostalgia made his T-Mobile’s performance unique and, paired with his gritty vocals, created quite a set to experience.

ISOxo brought an undeniable energy to Perry’s stage Friday afternoon, his commanding stage presence and raw energy demanding the audience’s attention. ISOxo showcased his DJ abilities in an electrifying set of driving beats and gritty bass.

Korn brought nu-metal to Bud Light in a thrilling headline set to close out Friday night. Lead singer Jonathan Davis expressed gratitude towards fans and towards the festival that allowed Korn to return to the stage almost 30 years after their first Lollapalooza performance.

Olivia Rodrigo took T-Mobile and ran with it during her headlining set. From an extensive encore to surprise guests, there was nothing this artist wasn’t willing to do to put on a memorable show.
