Hispanic food seems to be a favorite in the Champaign-Urbana community, with various restaurants offering cultured dishes. It makes sense — Hispanic food is extremely widespread and loved in popular culture because of its delicious and distinct cuisine and beverages.

Maize Mexican Grill has three different locations in the C-U area, but one of them is mobile and has been chosen as the best food truck by area voters. 

The food truck offers Mexican dishes that are crowd favorites, such as tacos, quesadillas and burritos, but there is also much more, like tostadas, sopes and tortas. If you’re looking for a snack, they offer the timeless treat of guacamole and chips. 

The food truck also offers various Mexican beverages like horchata, Jarritos and Topo Chico, as well as other drinks, such as canned soda, Red Bull and coffee. A new addition to the menu is the Maize Ice Coffee, a mix of horchata and cold brew.

With the variety of dishes from Maize Mexican Grill, Hispanic food offered at the Maize Food Truck remains a C-U favorite.
