At a staggering 340,000 square feet, the Activities and Recreation Center isn’t just the biggest gym on campus — it’s the heart and soul of fitness at the University. Whether you’re lifting, swimming, running or playing pickup basketball, the ARC has the space and equipment to make it happen.
The facility features rows upon rows of cardio machines on multiple levels, a 35-foot climbing wall, an indoor and outdoor pool and courts for basketball, volleyball, racquetball and squash. A top-floor track loops around the facility, offering the perfect spot for a run, especially during the colder months.
In the last two years, the ARC expanded its strength and conditioning areas, adding over 19,000 square feet of dedicated lifting space on the concourse level. Weightlifters now have even more room beyond the already impressive weight areas in the basement and top floor.
No matter your workout style, the ARC delivers. With high-quality equipment and ample space to train, give the ARC a visit on your next leg day.
