After a stressful week of classes, students pour into The Red Lion to let loose at happy hour, also known as “happies.” Most importantly, they come to see the pouring of the iconic Fuck It Bucket.
Multiple shots of vodka, cranberry juice, ginger ale and a Topo Chico hard seltzer — which is opened and flipped upside down — fill the oversized plastic cup and flood your senses. Not only is the mixture delicious enough to disguise the taste of alcohol, but it’s also a bang for your buck(et) at only $5 from 4-7 p.m. on Fridays.
Whether you decide to split one with a friend, keep it all to yourself or even go back for seconds, there’s no judgment when it comes to indulging in one of Campustown’s most classic drinks.
However, be warned — the Fuck It Bucket has its name for a reason. If you aren’t careful enough, your time at happies might leave you with a powerful headache on Saturday morning.
