Thriving within the northwest corner of the Bardeen Quadrangle, the Campus Instructional Facility is hard to miss. Sure, its glass windows, platinum environmental certification and large classrooms are nice and all, but everyone is well aware of the best thing the CIF has to offer: its luxurious bathrooms.
So what sets the CIF water closets apart from those on the rest of campus? For starters, the CIF has both gendered and individual freshening spaces on all five floors — basement included — each reliably clean and sanitary.
Not only that, but these lavatories have multiple sets of paper towels and air dryers, so feel free to choose your preferred bacteria removal method. Need to fill up your water bottle? No problem, there’s a fountain right outside the door.
And the greatest part of the lavish loos? There’s a tall window peering straight into the outside world. Why wouldn’t you want to glance at some scenery while washing up?
When conducting business at the CIF, be sure to take in the moment and enjoy the atmosphere before heading back to that dreaded lab report.
