Open since 2021 and located in downtown Champaign, The Literary is a bookstore and bar. The store sells a variety of book genres and trinkets such as pens, notebooks and stickers. With many seating options, it’s the perfect place to host a study party.
The Literary’s menu includes a series of breakfast plates, lunch options, signature coffee drinks and specialty cocktails. While there is no dinner menu, they serve snacks and shareable plates until 9 p.m.
Not only does The Literary provide a space for locals to hang out, but also a series of community events. Occurring almost every day, these events include book clubs for numerous genres, public readings and writing workshops.
