Balinese Gamelan Concert Spring 2018

For their Spring 2018 concert, University of Illinois Balinese Gamelan ensembles under the direction of I Ketut Gede Asnawa will perform a program of traditional and new works. The Aranya Kanda section of the Ramayana Dance Drama will be featured in the concert, along with a new composition dedicated to Mt. Agung by I Ketut Gede Asnawa.
Kombucha with Flowers: A Home Brew Workshop

At this Kombucha with Flowers class, farmer Holly (a long-time kombucha home brewer) will teach the class how kombucha works, and how to make their own at home using simple ingredients and supplies. The class will take a short farm tour and will harvest herbal flowers from Delight Flower Farm to brew the tea. We will go through the entire process from start to finish, and participants will be able to sample home brew kombucha and herbs.
