Actor Matthew Perry was reported dead by TMZ on Oct. 28. He was 54 years old.
The “Friends” star was discovered in his Los Angeles home jacuzzi in an apparent drowning on Saturday afternoon just after 4 p.m.
According to TMZ, law enforcement said first responders were sent to his home with a call regarding cardiac arrest.
No drugs or foul play were reported by law enforcement, though Perry has heavily used drugs in the past.
In 2022, Perry released a memoir titled “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.”

Perry’s first credited acting role was a minor part in “240-Robert,” a TV series that ran from 1979-81, but he has since appeared in several movies and television shows including “Fools Rush In” and “Growing Pains.”
Chandler Bing, Perry’s character in “Friends,” was in all 234 episodes of the series, which aired from 1994-04.
