Polyvinyl Records will host a pop-up shop at the American Football House this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The American Football House is located at 704 W. High St. in Urbana.
The American Football House, deemed a cultural landmark on Google Maps, is famous within the Midwest emo scene for appearing on the cover of the band American Football’s 1999 self-titled album.
This past May, Polyvinyl and the band collaborated to purchase the house to protect it from developers and possible demolition.
According to Polyvinyl’s social media, the one-day-only pop-up shop will include vinyls, CDs and more from Polyvinyl Records artists. Donuts and coffee will be available in the morning.
