Jungle performed on the Bud Light stage Thursday afternoon, providing an enjoyable and high-energy set for people of all ages.
Jungle is a disco-dance group based in London, consisting of Tom McFarland, Josh Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto. Founded in 2013, Jungle turned from a small London band to a worldwide success with songs like, “Back on 74,” “PROBLEMZ” and “I’ve Been In Love.”
As soon as the groovy beats and falsetto vocals of Jungle’s first song “Busy Earnin’,” drifted to the crowd from the Bud Light stage, audience members immediately started flocking closer to it, eager to hear the soulful melodies.
Though there was a large crowd, it wasn’t completely packed, leaving people plenty of room to sway and jump along with the distinct Jungle rhythms.
Without introduction, Jungle dove into their next song, “Candle Flame,” the jumbo screens next to the stage lighting up to portray Lydia Kitto, a smile lighting up her face.

The crowd came alive as they immediately recognized the melodic hook and started cheering.
After “Candle Flame” the band addressed the crowd. “What’s going on Chicago?” they asked. “Chicago let’s see you dancin’ around … Thank you so much for coming out tonight.”
The crowd complied, jumping to the electronic beats of the next song, “Dominoes,” the energy never wavering.
Each song Jungle played was brimming with energy, the exhilaration of the audience growing with each track.
The jumbo screens lit up red, showing each band member as they delivered soulfully chaotic beats and high-pitched vocals.
In the latter half of their set, Jungle performed “Back On 74” getting a huge reaction from the audience.
“Back on 74” was released in 2023 on Jungle’s most recent album release “Volcano.” It grew in popularity as it began to trend on TikTok earlier this year.
“Thank you so much Lollapalooza,” the band said again. “How you doing? You doing good?”
Jungle played at Lollapalooza 10 years ago, noting that it was the 10-year anniversary of their first U.S. festival.
The environment continued to be fun and lighthearted throughout the set, as people of all ages enjoyed the electronic sounds and passionate energy of Jungle.
