Grammy-nominated Deana Carter to headline Allerton Park concert series

The U of I Community Credit Union plans a special part of Prairie Sky, Allerton Park’s summer concert series, during the last official weekend of summer, featuring food vendors, activities and camping.
The highlight of the night is set to include a performance by Deana Carter, a Grammy-nominated singer. The Barefoot Movement, a bluegrass band, will open for Carter. An after-party in the Sunken Garden will follow the show.
Tickets are for sale on Eventbrite.com for $25 per person. The show will take place at the Allerton Park & Retreat Center in Monticello, Illinois. Gates open at 5 p.m.
