Five Broadway shows are set to take place at Assembly Hall spanning 2007-08. The News Gazette Broadway Series will feature Gyspy (Sept. 20), Annie (Oct. 8), Hairspray (Nov. 29), The Producers (March 29, 2008) and Evita (April 23, 2008).

It will be the first time Hairspray and the Producers will be performed at Assembly Hall.

Current News-Gazette Broadway Series subscribers have until July 20 to renew their same seats. Starting July 25, people wishing to become a News-Gazette Broadway Series subscriber will be accepted.

Tickets for the individual shows in the series will go on sale August 24.
