Champaign
- A 21-year-old Park Ridge, Ill., arrested for possession of alcohol on public property at the 500 block of East John Street, early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, an officer observed the man walking down the street holding a can of beer.
- A 20-year-old Chicago man reported aggravated assault at the 600 block of East John Street, early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, the man became involved in a verbal argument with an unknown suspect. The suspect then pulled out a black handgun and racked the slide.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 22-year-old man reported theft under $300, criminal damage to property and a lost driver’s license at the 200 block of East Green Street, Saturday evening.
According to a police report, the man’s iPod was stolen, the driver’s side window of his car was broken, and his driver’s license was missing.

- A 19-year-old Rantoul woman reported theft over $300 at the intersection of Third and White streets Sunday afternoon.
According to a police report, the woman’s purse was stolen.

- A 20-year-old man was issued a notice to appear for being a minor in possession at the 700 block of South Sixth Street, early Friday morning.
- A 21-year-old man reported residential burglary at the 200 block of South Third Street Thursday afternoon.
According to a police report, a computer, XBox and several other electronic items were taken.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of alcohol on public property at the 100 block of East Green Street early Saturday morning.
- A 20-year-old East Hampton, NY man was arrested for being a pedestrian under the influence at the 200 block of East Green Street, early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, the man was also arrested for liquor consumption by a minor and false ID possession. The man was taken to jail.
University
- A 20-year-old St. Charles, Ill., man was issued a notice to appear for underage purchase/consumption of alcohol at the 500 block of East Green Street, early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, the man was stopped after police responded to a report of fighting outside of Legends bar.
- A 21-year-old man was arrested for DUI near the intersection of Green and Second streets, early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, the man was stopped for driving without headlights.
- A 20-year-old woman was issued a notice to appear for illegal possession of alcohol on public property near the intersection of Sixth and John streets Saturday night.
According to a police report, the woman was arrested after an officer saw her carry an open beer out of an apartment and get into a vehicle.
- Police attempted to assist two women at the intersection of Third and Green streets Sunday night.
According to a police report, the women asked for assistance from an officer conducting a traffic stop after an unknown male had followed them from the Quad behind the Illini Union to the intersection. The women told police that an unknown man had sat down beside them on a bench where they were talking and inserted himself into their conversation. When the women rose and left to get away from him, the man followed them.
The man, who could not be located by police, was described as a white male in his late 20s, about 5 ft. 11 in. tall, with shaggy brown hair.
