Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at the 600 block of South State, early Sunday morning. According to the police report, an unknown offender damages windows on two vehicles in a driveway and stole the stereo systems, speakers, amplifiers and other miscellaneous objects.

Theft was reported at the Beckman Institute, 405 N. Mathews Ave., between 1 and 1:50 p.m. Thursday. According to the police report, cash ($15) was stolen from a wallet.
A 24-year-old man was arrested at the 200 block of East Peabody Drive, Friday night. According to the police report, the man was arrested on charges of possession of cannabis (30 grams or less), driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
Theft was reported at the Medical Sciences building, 506 S. Mathews Ave., Friday morning. According to the police report, an unknown offender entered an office and stole a purse containing a cell phone, credit cards, checkbook, driver’s license, debit card, cash and i-card. Total damages were estimated around $130.
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the 1300 block of West Florida Avenue, early Friday morning. According to the police report, the man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and a traffic signal violation.
Theft was reported at University parking lot E-14, 1624 S. First St., between Aug. 30 and Sept. 5. According to the police report, a tailgate worth $400 was stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot.
A 21-year-old man was issued a city notice to appear in court at the 500 block of East Green Street, early Saturday morning. According to the police report, the man was issued the citation for resisting/obstructing a police officer.
Two 19-year-old men were arrested near the intersection of Fifth and John streets, early Sunday morning. According to the police report, the men were arrested on charges of battery.
