A 35-year-old man was arrested at the 500 block of West Beardsley Avenue, Wednesday night. According to the police report, the offender had loud music coming from his car while parked in the driveway that could be heard a block away.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested at the 1500 block of Kiler Drive, early Friday morning. According to the police report, the offender had been warned on a prior date about loud music. The officer issued the man a notice to appear for noise.
Residential burglary was reported at the 100 block of East Springfield Avenue, Monday night. According to the police report, and unknown offender burglarized the victim’s residence and stole a MacBook, money, computer case and glasses.
Theft was reported at the 900 block of South Third Street, Wednesday morning. According to the police report, the victim reported that an unknown offender stole her bicycle.
University
Theft was reported at the Chemical and Life Sciences Laboratory, 601 S. Goodwin Ave., between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday. According to the police report, $20 was stolen from a wallet, which was later found in a stairwell and returned to the victim.
Theft was reported from University parking lot A3, near the corner of Springfield Avenue and Wright Street, between 1 and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the police report, a parking hang tag worth $60 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
