A 57-year-old man was arrested at the 1000 block of N. Cunningham Ave., Friday. According to the police report, the offender was driving when he became tired and slumped over the wheel. The offender confessed to taking prescription medications before driving.

Damage was reported at Everitt Laboratory, 1406 W. Green St., before midnight, Sept. 29. According to the police report, the unknown offender broke a $500 window in the men’s bathroom.
Theft was reported at Grainger Engineering Library Information Center, 1301 W. Springfield Ave., between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sept. 27. According to the police reports, three backpacks holding four textbooks were stolen from three separate victims.
A 21-year-old man was issued a notice to appear at the 600 block of E. John Street, early Friday morning. According to the police report, the man was issued the notice to appear for littering.
