The Urbana School District #116 will soon offer H1N1 vaccinations to all students in the district.
According to a press release from the school district, the program, also provided in part by the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, Carle Foundation Hospital and Carle Clinic gives students grades K-12 vaccinations free of charge.
Consent forms signed by parents will be required for all students receiving the immunization, according to the release.
Officials expect the vaccination to arrive later this month. At this time, arrangements will be made to make the vaccine available in clinics, according to the release.
