A 51-year-old man reported theft at the 500 block of West University Avenue on Friday.

According to the police report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s bike and left another bike in its place.

A 52-year-old man reported burglary at the 1200 block of North Mattis Avenue on Sunday.

According to the police report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s apartment through an unlocked window and stole an LCD television and antenna.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on the charge of criminal damage to property at the 500 block of East Park Street on Sunday.

According to the police report, the offender was angry and broke a storm window on the front of the residence.

A 26-year-old woman reported theft and criminal damage to property at Old Chicago, 1910 N. Neil St., on Nov. 23.

According to the police report, the victim was at work and had parked her car in the employer’s parking lot. An unknown offender siphoned gas from her tank and stole her gas cap; the tank was damaged.

Leonard’s Pawn & Jewelry reported burglary at 112 E. University Avenue, on Nov. 16.

According to the police report, the offender, a 51–year–old man, sold items to the pawn shop that he knew were stolen from a burglary that occurred in Normal, Ill.

Burglary and criminal damage to property was reported at Glover Street Warehouses, 602 S. Glover Ave., on Monday.

According to the police report, unknown offender(s) broke six padlocks from multiple storage garages.

A 35-year-old man reported theft at the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue on Monday.

According to the police report, a check was stolen from the victim’s checkbook and later cashed. The victim suspects his ex-roommate.

An 18-year-old woman reported identity theft at the 1000 block of South Smith Road on Monday.

According to the police report, unknown offender used the victim’s personal information to receive cable services.

University

Theft was reported at Grainger Engineering Library Information Center, 1301 W. Springfield Ave., on Monday.

According to the police report, an electronic music player worth $400 was stolen while the victim was sleeping in a study carrel on the third floor.

Theft was reported near the Materials Science and Engineering Building, 1304 W. Green St., sometime before Nov. 17.

According to the police report, wheels were removed from a parked bicycle. Damage was estimated at $100.
