Champaign County registered voters who wish to vote absentee for the Feb. 2, 2010 general primary election can now file their application.

To file an absentee ballot, voters should contact the Champaign County Clerk’s office, 1776 E. Washington St. in Urbana, at (217)384-3724 or look at the office’s Web site at www.champaigncountyclerk.com, according to a press release from Champaign County Clerk Mark Shelden.

Voters can vote absentee by mailing in their ballots or voting in person at the County Clerk’s office.
