Carle Foundation Hospital has named geriactric specialist Suma P. Peter, MD, their 2010 physician of the year.
The award honors a doctor who has exceeded the expectations of his or her practice or profession and made a difference in the life of a patient, staff or colleague.
Dr. Peter was nominated for the award by patients and their family members for her extraordinary commitment to helping her patients maintain and improve their quality of life.
