The Champaign County Board is holding a public hearing to allow the community to discuss the size of its current board.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Lyle Shields Meeting Room at Brookens Administrative Center, 1776 E. Washington St., Urbana. In addition to discussing the current size of the board, the board is also seeking comment about whether it should move from multi-member districts to single-member districts. The current board is made up of 27 members; there are 9 districts made up of 3 members each.
