- According to the police report, the victim left his vehicle unlocked overnight and an unknown offender stole his CD player.
- Retail theft was reported at Colonial Pantry, 211 W. University Ave., Wednesday night.
- According to the police report, an unknown offender stole a case of beer.
Urbana
- Robbery and aggravated battery were reported at the 800 block of East Fairlawn Drive on Wednesday afternoon.
- According to the police report, multiple offenders attacked the victim and stole his wallet. The victim was battered during the robbery and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
- A 25-year-old man was arrested at the 1400 block of West Park Street on Wednesday morning.
- According to the police report, the offender was found opening up merchandise and concealing them in his pant pockets at Meijer, 2500 S. Philo Road. When police attempted to stop the offender and the offender didn’t comply, the officer placed the offender on the ground and in doing so separated the offender’s shoulders. The offender was taken to the hospital and arrested after receiving treatment.
- Theft was reported at the 100 block of South Busey Avenue on Wednesday morning.
- According to the police report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s bike overnight while it had been left unlocked in the carport of the residence.
University
- Theft was reported from a room in Forbes Hall, 101 E. Gregory Drive, April 5.
According to the police report, an unknown offender stole a laptop valued at $700 and a cell phone valued at $410.
