Champaign-Urbana made it on the list of The American Lung Association’s 38 cleanest cities for short-term particle pollution.
According to the Lung Association’s State of the Air report released Wednesday morning, Champaign-Urbana was one of the three cities in Illinois to make the list including Bloomington-Normal and Springfield.
The report also states that half the population of the U.S. still lives in the midst of pollution levels that are often too dangerous to breathe.
