Wednesday afternoon, a body was found in a pond near I-74 in north Champaign.
According to the Champaign police department, a call was received 3:47 p.m. Wednesday that a body was found face down in a pound in the 300 block of West Marketview Drive.
The body was DOA and police and firefighters are on the scene.
