Local state legislators voted early on the University’s early voting site.

State Representative Naomi Jakobsson and State Senator Michael Frerichs cast their ballots at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Gregory Place poll, 700 Gregory St. in Urbana.

According to a press release, early voting is also available at the Champaign County Clerk’s office at the Brookens Center, 1776 E. Washington St. in Urbana.

Hours of operation at the polling places are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Early voting ends Oct. 28.
