Champaign
- A 56-year-old male from Champaign was arrested on an in-state warrant for deceptive practices from Douglas County on the 700 block of South Neil Street on Saturday morning.
- A 33-year-old male from Champaign was arrested on an in-state warrant at the intersections of Sixth and Wright Streets on Sunday. According to the report, the suspect was a passenger in a car that was pulled over and given a notice to appear for unnecessary vehicular noise. The officer then found one of the passengers to have a valid warrant.
- A 25-year-old male was arrested for an in-state warrant, driving with a suspended or revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, with a 20-year-old male also arrested for an in-state warrant at the intersection of Neil and Kirby streets Saturday afternoon.
- Burglary from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property was reported on the 500 block of South Third Street on Saturday night. According to the report, an unknown suspect forced entry into the convertible top of the victim’s vehicle, although nothing appeared to be taken.
- Theft of over $300 was reported on the 100 block of East University Avenue on Wednesday morning. According to the report, an unknown suspect stole electronic equipment from the back storage room.
- Battery was reported at the intersection of First and Armory Street on Sunday morning. According to the report, an unknown suspect battered the victim.
- An 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old male were arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia on the 400 block of East Chalmers Street on Thursday. According to the report, an officer was walking by the suspect’s apartment and believed she smelled the odor of burning cannabis.
Urbana
- Residential burglary was reported on the 100 block of West Pennsylvania Avenue at the Sigma Nu fraternity house on Thursday morning. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the fraternity house without permission. The offender was then startled by the victim and fled. Nothing was reported as stolen.
