Urbana
A 20-year-old male from Evanston, Ill., was arrested for possession of cannabis, and a 22-year-old male from Urbana was arrested for an in-state warrant on the 1100 block of West Nevada Street on Saturday. According to the report, officers walked past a vehicle with the odor of cannabis wafting from it. One occupant had a valid warrant, and the other was found to be in possession of cannabis.
A 24-year-old female was issued a notice to appear for a using a mobile device at the time of a vehicular accident at the intersection of Springfield and Goodwin streets on Nov. 3.
University
Sexual assault was reported in the fourth floor restroom of Forbes Hall, 101 E. Gregory Drive, in Champaign, Monday shortly before 11 a.m. According to the report, the suspect was described as a black male aged 40- to 50-years-old with salt/pepper hair, a medium build around 170 lbs, 5’11” tall, last seen wearing a gray jacket with black shoes. The suspect has not been apprehended.
A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked locker at the Campus Recreation Center-East, 1102 W. Gregory St., Urbana after 9 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the laptop was valued at $1,000.
An 18-year-old male from Champaign was arrested for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver at the intersections of Sixth and Daniel streets in Champaign shortly after midnight Sunday. According to the report, he had been riding in a vehicle stopped by police.
