Hall of Famer Dave Winfield will be hosting and narrating The Baseball Music Project to celebrate America’s pastime.
The Baseball Music Project will be held Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Foellinger Great Hall of the Krannert Center, 500 South Goodwin Avenue in Urbana.
Tickets range from $5-$35 with tickets for anyone under 18 being $5 and University student tickets $10.
The event will feature the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra led by Conductor Bob Thompson and Music Director Steven Larson.

- People will have the opportunity to meet the University baseball team at 5:45 p.m.
- Dr. Robert Bane will be holding a talk on sports medicine at 6 p.m.
- Professor Emeritus Alan Nathan will be hosting a talk entitled “Revisiting Mantle’s Griffith Stadium Home Run, April 17, 1953 – A Case Study in Forensic Physics” at 6:30 p.m.
