Champaign
- A 30-year-old homeless male was issued a notice to appear for theft and trespassing on the 900 block of South Second Street at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house Monday morning. According to the report, the suspect stole an aluminum extension ladder from the fraternity house.
- Theft of motor vehicle parts was reported on the 500 block of South Third Street on Monday night. According to the report, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s rear license plate off of her vehicle.
Urbana
- Criminal defacement of property was reported at the intersection of Green and Busey streets on Sunday morning. According to the report, an unknown offender criminally defaced various properties.
- An abandoned bicycle was reported on the 300 block of North Goodwin Avenue on Nov. 18 around noon. According to the report, the bike was attached to a light pole and was tagged for removal. After failure to remove the bike within 72 hours, it was taken to the UPD impound for safekeeping.
- Theft of $300 and under was reported on the 700 block of West Elm Street on Monday morning. According to the report, the victim’s bike was locked to the bike rack near her apartment building and was stolen by an unknown offender while she was away from her apartment.
University
- A backpack and its contents were stolen from the employee break room at the Activities and Recreation Center, 201 E. Peabody Drive, in Champaign, on Monday evening. According to the report, the stolen items include a laptop valued at $1,250, as well as a jacket, sweatshirt and set of keys.
- A 20-year-old female University student from Champaign was arrested for phone harassment at her residence on the 200 block of East Green Street on Monday night. According to the report, she continued contacting someone after she and the other individual agreed to no longer have contact.
