A 44-year-old homeless male was arrested on an outstanding city of Champaign arrest warrant at the intersection of Sixth and Green streets in Champaign on Sunday night. According to the report, the subject surrendered himself to police
A 18-year-old male University student from Champaign was arrested for domestic battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at Hopkins Hall, 1208 S. First St., Champaign, on Sunday. According to the report, the intoxicated subject shoved his roommate into a wall, and the roommate hit his head.
Two men from Champaign were arrested in Lot D-15 for possession of cannabis at 1201 W. Oregon St., Champaign, on Saturday.
According to the report, a 20-year-old male was arrested and cited for illegal transportation of liquor, possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment. A 22-year-old male was arrested at the same location for illegal transportation of liquor and possession of cannabis.
A backpack and its contents were stolen from an unlocked locker at the Campus Recreation Center-East, 1102 W. Gregory Drive, Urbana, on Friday night and was reported at 10 p.m.
According to the report, missing items included a cell phone valued at $300, an MP3 player valued at $250, a graphing calculator valued at $150 and two financial calculators valued at $60 each.
