- Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported from the 700 block of south First Street on Sunday around 2 p.m. According to the report, an unknown subject entered the victim’s car without forced entry and stole clothing.
- Criminal damage to property was reported at the Sigma Kappa Theta residence on the 300 block of east John Street on Monday around 1 p.m. According to the report, an unknown subject broke out a window of the residence.
- Criminal damage to property was reported at the Delta Tau Delta house at the 400 block of East John Street on Monday. According to the report, two unknown suspects damaged the victim’s vehicle and a window of the fraternity.
- Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at the 700 block of First Street in Champaign on Monday. According to the report, an unknown subject entered the victim’s car and stole clothing. There was no forced entry.
University
- A 50-year-old man was arrested for theft Monday night at the Grainger Engineering Library Information Center. According to the report, he was found with property belonging to more than one person that he stole from the library. This included a laptop computer valued at $1,000, two cell phones (one valued at $100, the other at $50), two phone chargers, a computer case, headphones and a computer lock.
- Theft was reported at the Activities and Recreation center Monday night. According to the report, an iPhone valued at $330 was stolen after being left unattended.
