Tremont Street between Prospect and Willis avenues will be closed to through traffic from Thursday to next Wednesday to repair a sanitary sewer service.

Local traffic will be able to access their properties, according to a release. Those properties east of the closed streets should use the Prospect Avenue entrance and those west should use the Willis Avenue entrance.

The excavation will be filled with rock material until the temperature rises above freezing, the release said. At that point, the street will be closed again and filled with concrete payment patching.
