Champaign
- A 21-year-old male from Urbana was arrested on an in-state warrant for fighting on the 700 block of South Sixth Street on Jan. 16 around 1:30 a.m.
- A 50-year-old male from Urbana was arrested on an in-state warrant for domestic battery on the 00 block of East University Avenue on Jan. 17 shortly before 2 p.m.
- A 21-year-old male from Champaign was arrested on an in-state warrant on the 00 block of East John Street on Friday.
- A 15-year-old female was arrested for battery on the 00 block of East University Avenue at the Champaign Police Department on Tuesday around noon. According to the report, the female juvenile battered a 17-year-old female and was given an appointment.
- A 26-year-old homeless male was arrested for burglary and obstructing justice at CVS Pharmacy, 107 W. Green St., on Monday night. According to the report, the subject stole liquor from the store, was arrested and taken to jail.
Urbana
- Armed robbery was reported on the 800 block of West Green Street at the Circle K gas station Monday morning. According to the report, an unknown male entered the gas station and displayed a handgun while demanding money from the clerk, then fled the scene in a gray 2003 Chrysler model 300. The subject also stole two bottles of liquor.
- Theft was reported at the 1800 block of North Cunningham Drive at the Freedom/Shell gas station on Tuesday afternoon. According the report, an unknown offender pumped gas into a vehicle without payment.
- Theft was reported at the Arrow Glass store, 406 E. Anthony St., on Tuesday evening. According to the report, an unknown offender stole aluminum window frames from outside the business.
University
- A 23-year-old male from Champaign was arrested for violating an order of protection on Tuesday afternoon. According to the report, the subject allegedly continued contact with an ex-girlfriend, a University student, against a court order. He was arrested after he contacted a college dean to complain the student had violated “honor” and “moral” codes.
