Champaign
- Theft of $300 and under and credit card fraud was reported on the 700 block of South Sixth Street Tuesday morning.
- According to the report, the victim’s purse snapped from her shoulder and fell on the sidewalk. When she realized she no longer had the purse and went to retrieve it, the purse was found gone. An unknown subject had also used her credit card.
- Retail theft was reported on the 600 block of East University Avenue Monday morning.
- According to the report, an unknown subject took merchandise without paying and was not located.
- Criminal damage to property was reported on the 100 block of East Daniel Street Wednesday night.
- According to the report, an unknown suspect damaged the victim’s sliding glass screen door.
- Theft of under $300 was reported on the 1600 block of South Neil Street at McDonald’s Monday night.
- According to the report, a 26-year-old female was issued a notice to appear for theft for taking money from the cash draw the day before around 2 p.m.
- A trepass notice was issued at TIS Bookstore, 706 S. Sixth St., Monday afternoon.
- According to the report, a 20-year-old male was banned from the business for theft.
Urbana
- A 16-year-old female was arrested for domestic battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by minor on the 700 block of West California Street Tuesday evening.
- According to the report, the victim, who is the father of the offender, found the subject intoxicated and confronted her. The subject then kicked the victim several times in the face, causing injury, then made suicidal statements and was taken to the hospital. She was later arrested and taken to a juvenile detention center.
