Champaign
- A 48-year-old homeless male was arrested for panhandling in a prohibited area on the 700 block of South Sixth Street on Monday night. According to the report, the subject was begging within 10 feet of an ATM machine.
- Criminal damage to property and burglary was reported at Undercover on the 600 block of South Fifth Street on Tuesday morning. According to the report, an unknown suspect attempted to break into the business.
- Lost articles were reported on Feb. 8. According to the report, the victim lost her cell phone while riding on an MTD bus.
- Battery was reported at Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the 200 block of East Daniel Street on Jan. 29. According to the report, the victim reported being battered by unknown suspects.
- A 37-year-old male with charged for driving under the influence of drugs, driving with a revoked driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without registration at the 1000 block of West Bradley Street on Sunday night. According to the report, the vehicle was stopped for no valid registration. The offender was then arrested for driving under suspension. The search following the arrest revealed cannabis inside the vehicle, for which the offender was also arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
Urbana
- Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 500 block of West Main Street on Monday afternoon. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole two GPS units.
