Champaign
- Seven notices to appear for minor in possession of alcohol were issued at Murphy’s Pub, 604 E. Green St., on Friday shortly before midnight.
- Eleven notices to appear for minor in possession of alcohol were issued at Kam’s, 618 E. Daniel St., on Saturday.
- Six notices to appear for minor in possession of alcohol were issued at Joe’s Brewery, 706 S. Fifth St., on Saturday.
- Six notices to appear for minor in possession of alcohol were at Brother’s Bar, 613 E. Green St., on Saturday. According to the report, one of the offenders was also arrested for resisting and obstructing an officer.
- Criminal damage to property was reported at Big Mouth Burgers, 408 E. Green St., on Sunday morning. According to the report, an unknown suspect broke the front window to the business.
- Criminal damage to property was reported from a parking lot on the 00 block of South Fifth Street Sunday evening. According to the report, an unknown suspect damaged the victim’s vehicle.
- A 45-year-old male from Champaign was arrested for retail theft at the County Market on the 300 block of East Stoughton Avenue on Sunday afternoon. According to the report, the suspect concealed multiple cosmetics and toiletries items and exited the store without paying. He was then arrested and issued a trespass notice.
- Residential burglary was reported on the 100 block of East Healey Street on Monday morning. According to the report, an unknown suspect burglarized the victims apartment, stealing a computer, a credit or debit card and two identification items.
University
- A 23-year-old male from Champaign was arrested for unlawful use of weapons on the 1800 block of Valley Road, Urbana, on Saturday afternoon. According to the report, the offender was arrested after police found live ammunition, “real-looking” soft and pellet guns and swords inside an apartment he was staying at in and did not have a valid Firearm Owner’s Identification Card.
- Three males were arrested for aggravated battery and mob action in a parking garage on the 500 block of East Daniel Street, Champaign, on Sunday. According to the report, the offenders were arrested after police responded to a reported fight.
