Champaign

- Burglary was reported at Intervarsity Christian at the 600 block of East Green Street Wednesday morning.
- According to the report, an unknown suspect entered an office and stole three envelopes containing petty cash on Feb. 11.
- A 24-year-old male was charged with assault at Illinois Terminal at the 00 block of East University Avenue on Wednesday.
- According to the report, the offender has been causing problems with the victim, a juvenile.
- A 19-year-old male was charged with assault and criminal damage to property at the 800 block of South Randolph Street on Wednesday.
- According to the report, the subjects were involved in a domestic dispute. The subject also damaged property.
- A 56-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of liquor, possession of cannabis at 30 grams or under and speeding at the 1200 block of South Duncan Road on Tuesday.
- According to the report, the offender was found in possession of cannabis and open alcohol. He was cited for driving under the influence.
- A 52-year-old male was arrested on an in-state warrant at the 600 block of West Green Street on Wednesday.
- According to the report, the subject was issued a trespass notice to Subway. He was arrested on warrant of being in possession of alcohol on public property.
Urbana
- A 25-year-old male was arrested for resisting state police at the 800 block of Perkins Street on Feb. 11.
- According to the report, troopers executed a search warrant on a vehicle in Urbana. The Urbana Police Department assisted with the search and dealing with multiple offenders. The search ended in the recovery of nearly 8.74 lbs of methamphetamine.
University
- A 47-year-old male from Champaign was arrested for theft Tuesday night.
- According to the report, the offender allegedly stole more than $2,000 worth of copper. The offender reportedly stole wire and tubes from the waste transfer station at 10 St. Mary’s Road, Champaign, and then resold them to an area scrap dealer.
