Champaign Police arrested a 41-year-old male on the 800 block of north State Street at approximately 2:40 a.m. Wednesday in response to a verbal altercation that took place between the victim, a 47-year-old male, and the alleged attacker, Kenneth Graham, 41. Both parties were inside Graham’s home when the victim reported being stabbed with an unknown object.

The victim was later taken to Carle Hospital for medical attention.

Christal Hopkins, 30, was also present in the home and was arrested on an outstanding City of Urbana warrant.

Both Hopkins and Graham were taken to Champaign County Jail.

A knife was later found in the home of the yard that may be connected to the battery.
