Although the campus is buzzing about Unofficial, many students are hoping that others remain safe during the day.

Heidy Valles, junior in LAS, said she does not blame the police for asking so many officers to patrol Campustown. She added that she hopes no one dies this year.

Jenee Jackson, graduate student, echoed this sentiments and said she appreciated the police looking out over the students.

“There are here to make sure that people around here are safe and not acting like [idiots],” she said.
