The line at Red Lion has been about 20 to 30 people long around 1 p.m. with an estimated wait time of 20 minutes.
The Clyborne and Fire Haus are at full capacity as of 2:48 p.m.
Micha Johnston, senior from Southern Illinois University, said he decided to hang out at Red Lion because he was disappointed at the apartment parties.
“Every apartment party has been pretty subpar,” Johnston said. “I’ve been coming (to Unofficial) for the past four years. It’s gotten 10 times more strict.”
He added that there are more city ordinances preventing him from doing things such as throwing water balloons off the balcony.

“I honestly have been disappointed with the cop presence,” Johnston said.
He added that as a 22-year-old it’s funny to see underaged people get caught by cops. Meanwhile, there has been minimal to no waiting at Legends and Murphy’s Pub.
Allison Keeber, senior in ACES, said she started drinking since 8 a.m.
“This is my senior year, so I want to do it up right,” Keeber said. “I’ve never really done the whole bar scene. So, I’m 21 and of age, so I want to do it.”
She added that there was no line or cover at KAM’s.
