Champaign Police responded to a report of a home invasion with a shooting victim at the 1500 block of West Clark Street on at 8:45 p.m. on Friday.

According to a press release, two men forced their way into the victim’s home and fired shots at a 24-year-old Champaign woman. The victim was then transported to Carle Hospital for treatment, and her condition was unknown at the time the release was issued.

Police are investigating the case and will provide more information as it becomes available.
