Champaign Mayor Jerry Schweighart and candidate Don Gerard are set to debate from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday March 16 at the main branch of the Champaign Public Library.
According to a press release, the debate is sponsored by the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana and will be moderated by Amy Hatch and Laura Weisskopf Bliell, from Chambanamoms.com. Seating is limited, but the debate is open to the public.
