Hannah Ehrenberg has been named the new student trustee of the Urbana campus for the Illinois Student Senate.
The results were announced earlier this afternoon, and the Illinois Student Senate reports that detailed results will be posted to the Student Election Committee’s website soon.
Ehrenberg, a junior in ACES and vice president-external of the Illinois Student Senate, endorsed throughout her campaign issues like keeping the University three separate campuses, and countering the state’s inability to pay the University money owed via external funding.
The online polls closed on March 9 at 11:59 p.m. and results were finalized around 4:30 p.m. today.
The other two candidates running for trustee were Jim Maskeri, sophomore in LAS and Shao Guo, freshman in DGS.

Ehrenberg will succeed current student trustee Daniel Soso, senior in Engineering.
