• A 26-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence at the 100 block of West Water Street early Thursday morning.
• According to the report, the offender was stopped for a traffic violation and displayed slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol.
• A 37-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery at the 2000 block of Philo Road early Thursday morning.
• According to the report, the offender choked the victim and pushed the victim down.

University

• A sign on the south side of the Mechanical Engineering Building, 1206 W. Green St., was stolen Wednesday evening.
• According to the report, the sign is valued at about $1,000.
