Champaign
- A 25-year-old male was issued a no-trespassing notice at Chester Street Bar, 63 E. Chester St., on Sunday around 3 a.m. According to the report, he was issued the notice after he refused to leave when told by management.
- A 20-year-old male from Urbana was arrested for criminal damage to property on the 700 block of South Fourth Street on Sunday shortly before 4 a.m. According to the report, officers observed the intoxicated subject destroy a stop light.
- A 23-year-old homeless male was arrested on a Champaign county warrant and issued a no-trespassing notice at the County Market on the 300 block of East Stoughton Avenue on Saturday around 6:45 p.m.
- Criminal damage to property was reported on the 300 block of East Green Street on Saturday shortly before 8 p.m. According to the report, an unknown subject broke the victim’s vehicle windshield.
- A 22-year-old male from Urbana was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on the 300 block of East Clark Street on Sunday around 8:30 a.m.
- Criminal damage to property was reported on the 900 block of South Second Street on March 5 shortly after 3 p.m. According to the report, two unknown suspects damaged a bicycle in the common area of an apartment complex.
- A 22-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery on the 800 block of South Fourth Street on Saturday around 3:50 a.m. According to the report, the suspect slapped, choked, punched and kicked a 22-year-old female victim.
- A 43-year-old male from Danville, Ill., was arrested for criminal damage to property on the 600 block of East Clark Street on Friday shortly after 11 p.m.
- According to the report, the suspect tore the top of a convertible and was caught sitting in the passenger seat of the car.
Urbana
- Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 1000 block of West Main Street on Saturday shortly before 11 p.m. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle without permission and took an unknown amount of currency.
- Theft was reported on the 400 block of North Gregory Drive on Saturday around 1 p.m. According to the report, an unknown offender took the victim’s locked bike from the underground parking garage at his apartment complex.
- University
- An MP3 player and wallet belonging to a University student were reported stolen at the Undergraduate Library, 1402 W. Gregory Dr., late Thursday afternoon. According to the report, the student left the items unattended in the restroom. The total value of the items is about $500.
- A 17-year-old Urbana High School student was arrested for felony credit-card fraud at the school, 1002 S. Race St., Urbana, on Thursday. According to the report, the student allegedly used a credit card belonging to a University faculty member without the owner’s authorization.
