Champaign
- A 48-year-old male from Champaign, Ill., was arrested on an in-state warrant at the 200 block of South First Street on March 28 just before 5 p.m.
- Trespassing was reported at the Champaign Public Library, 200 W. Green St., on Tuesday at approximately 2 p.m. No arrest was made.
- Battery was reported at the 500 block of South State Street on Tuesday just after 3 p.m. According to the report, the suspect battered the victim. The suspect has not been located.
- Theft was reported at the TIMES Center, 70 E. Washington St., on Tuesday just after 9:30 a.m. According to the report, an unknown subject stole the victim’s cell phone.
- A 23-year-old female from Chicago, Ill., was arrested for reckless conduct at the 700 block of South State Street on Tuesday just after 6 p.m. According to the report, officers responded to a domestic disturbance.
- Theft from a motor vehicle was reported at the 00 block of Main Street on Tuesday just before 3 p.m. According to the report, an unknown suspect took the renewal sticker from the license plate of the victim’s vehicle.
Urbana
- A 19-year-old male was issued a notice to appear for noise prohibition at the 100 block of West Park Street on Monday just after 11 p.m.
- Items were reported lost at the 800 block of West Illinois Street on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. According to the report, the victim lost her property while walking from her apartment to class.
University
- A 32-year-old male from Urbana, Ill., was arrested in the 1800 block of South Oak Street for being a fugitive from justice following a traffic stop Tuesday at 8 a.m. Police said authorities in Clay County, Ill., had issued an arrest warrant for the offender. There had also been two arrest warrants issued for him in Colorado.
