A Lincolnland Express (LEX) bus was involved in an accident Sunday night.

Sandy Kubbs, LEX representative, said a vehicle sideswiped a LEX bus, brushing up against the side of the Champaign-bound bus south of Rantoul on the Interstate-57.

“The vehicle has some scratches, but (the driver) said there were no major problems,” Kubbs said.

According to Kubbs, there were no injuries involved or tickets issued.

Kubbs also said no University students were involved in the accident, the bus having been chartered by another group.
