Champaign
- A 20-year-old female from Champaign was issued a notice to appear for minor in possession of alcohol on the 500 block of East John Street on Sunday shortly after midnight.
- n Eight notices to appear were issued on the 100 block of East Daniel Street on Saturday around 11 p.m. According to the report, five of the subjects were cited for possession of alcohol on public property and the other three for minor in possession of alcohol.
- Battery and criminal damage to property was reported on the 00 block of East John Street on Saturday around 2:30 a.m. According to the report, a 21-year-old male suspect battered the victim and damaged two light covers in the common area of the apartment building.
- Aggravated battery was reported on the 1300 block of South Neil Street on Friday shortly before midnight. According to the report, the victim was battered by the suspect in the store.
Urbana
- Criminal damage to property was reported at the 900 block of South Lincoln Avenue on Friday. According to the report, an unknown offender used black spray paint to put graffiti on a fence belonging to Alpha Chi Omega.
University
- A 22-year-old male University student was arrested at his residence inside Oglesby Hall, 1005 College Court, for aggravated arson at 2:45 a.m. Friday. According to the report, the offender allegedly set paper fires in front of two room doors inside the residence hall, causing damage to the doors.
- A 22-year-old male University student was arrested for aggravated battery and resisting arrest at 12:15 Friday after police were called to Sherman Hall, 909 S. Fifth St., Champaign. According to the report, police were called to remove a disorderly subject who was sleeping in the lobby when officers arrived and became belligerent after being awakened.
- A computer valued at $1,000 was reported stolen at 5 p.m. Thursday from the shipping room of the Micro and Nanotechnology Laboratory, 208 N. Wright St., Urbana.
- Theft was reported at the office of the student chapter of the American Fisheries Society, 607 E. Peabody Drive, at 6 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, society officers discovered the theft of an entire book of checks after receiving an overdraft statement with more than $350 in fast-food charges.
